The Windows Installer Services needed for FEFLOW or WGEO installation are usually not up to date on Windows 2000 Systems. It is recommended to update the Windows Installer Service. All Windows-based patches for NetLM are executable program files that can be run from any location. A prior installation of NetLM 4.0 is required.
